Jackson the Children’s Miracle Network Champion
Nine years ago, Jackson had a life saving stem cell transplant at Children’s Health when he was six months old. Each year since then, his family, friends and classmates have celebrated his “re birthday,” the anniversary of his transplant, together. Jackson was devastated he wasn’t able to celebrate as he normally would this year due to social distancing restrictions but received the surprise of a lifetime at his home last week! Children’s Health team members, along with Jackson’s friends, neighbors and classmates surprised him with a caravan to make sure his re birthday was more special than ever! Chuck-E-Cheese, Main Event, Orangetheory Fitness, and One Society joined in, some even leaving gifts at the end of his driveway. Jackson is this year’s Children’s Miracle Network “Champion” and wore a cape and medal signifying the superhero he truly is! For more information on Jackson’s story click here.
