CDW Donates $10,000 to Children’s Health

CDW for 31 years has been raising funds for children’s hospitals across North America. Each year CDW raises funds through a coworker giving campaign called Fun Drive throughout the month of July. While totals are still be finalized for this year’s campaign, CDW celebrated a new location opening for our Dallas hospital market this month. CDW invited CMN Hospitals, the local hospital, Children’s Health, and a miracle family to join the celebration. The new Dallas CDW office presented Children’s Health with a $10,000 check to continue their dedication to supporting our network.

Jackson Saden, local miracle kiddo joined the event. Jackson was diagnosed with Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) when he was 10 weeks old.  Affecting 1.2 people per million, HLH is an autoimmune dysregulatory syndrome resulting in severe inflammation and multi-organ failure.  The only way to cure HLH is with a stem cell transplant.

Once you go into remission, you go straight to transplant once a donor is found,” said Jackie Pull, Saden’s mom. “Jackson will celebrate seven years post-transplant on April 15.”

Since partnering with CMN Hospitals and local children’s hospitals, CDW has helped raise almost $10 million in vital funds for local children’s hospitals.
